Preparing Oral Presentations gives Year 3 teachers a coherent sequence for moving students from an initial idea to a confident short presentation. Students identify purpose and audience, narrow a topic, build research questions, organise an opening and sequenced main points, choose precise vocabulary and useful visuals, create keyword palm cards, rehearse voice and body-language choices, respond respectfully, and reflect on feedback.
The unit provides explicit teaching, guided practice, collaborative rehearsal, independent planning and assessment in one coordinated set.
