Position, Direction and Coding Foundation–Year 2 Maths Unit Bundle
Build spatial reasoning from Foundation to Year 2 with four complete mathematics units that progress from everyday position words and simple directions to movement commands, robot algorithms, maps, keys, symbols and multi-step routes.
This bundle brings together explicit teaching, hands-on games, differentiated worksheets, editable quizzes and meaningful assessment across a coherent early-years sequence. Students describe where objects are, distinguish left and right, follow and give directions, use turn language, plan and debug robot routes, interpret bird’s-eye maps and create representations of familiar spaces.
Each included unit contains an editable PowerPoint presentation and quiz, printable classroom resources, answer support, assessment and a five-level rubric. Use the four units as a Foundation–Year 2 progression, for multi-age planning, intervention and extension, or select the unit that matches your current year level.
