Plan a Class Timeline — Year 1 Mathematics Unit of Work
Help children make a coherent timeline for a fictional class seed project. They plan a one-hour planting session on Day 1, record daily observations for two weeks and schedule a class review one calendar month after the start. Explicit modelling, worked cards, guided practice, a partner contradiction game and fresh rehearsal cases lead to an independent timeline assessment. Learners distinguish “first/next” from how long an event lasts and record actual observations without assuming a sprouting date.
