Online Safety and Teamwork Unit
Staying Safe and Working Together Online helps young learners build early computational-thinking skills while making safe, kind and responsible choices in digital spaces.
Across five lessons, students follow and improve ordered algorithms, recognise simple decisions and repeated actions, identify information that should stay private, practise logins using supplied pretend details only, ask trusted adults for help and collaborate respectfully in teacher-approved shared spaces.
The unit combines a 49-slide editable presentation, a 23-slide editable quiz and a 29-page printable unit plan. Colour posters and hands-on activities support discussion and partner work. Low-ink worksheets provide independent practice, and eight red-answer pages make review straightforward. A two-page Class Garden Team Mission assessment and five-level rubric provide a clear end-of-unit task.
Real passwords are never requested or recorded. The pretend-login resource explicitly reinforces privacy and trusted-adult support.
