Odd & Even Numbers Year 4 Unit

Odd & Even Numbers is a complete Year 4 teaching unit for classifying whole numbers and reasoning about parity. Students use ones digits and equal pairs to identify odd and even numbers, then investigate what happens when odd and even values are added, subtracted and multiplied.

The sequence moves from explicit teaching and visual models to sorting, game-based discussion, calculation predictions, error analysis, missing-number reasoning and assessment.
