My Body, My Space, My Safety - Foundation
Teach permission, personal space, body words and help-seeking through calm, fictional puppet and paper scenarios. This Foundation Health unit provides eight core lessons and two optional reinforcement lessons. All essential teaching and assessment are completed within lessons 1–8; lessons 9–10 revisit changed permission and choosing another helpful adult.
Each planned lesson is 50 minutes and has its own complete editable 12-slide PowerPoint. The teacher guide explains preparation, modelling, guided rehearsal, application, feedback, differentiation and extension. No live accounts or real photographs are needed for the fictional scenarios.
Children can demonstrate understanding through speech, pointing, pictures, gestures, a communication device, puppet actions or an adult-recorded response. Communication support is kept separate from prompts that supply an answer. Teaching and assessment use fictional situations and private body-word checks, without asking children to disclose personal experiences. Adults retain responsibility for safeguarding and responding to concerns.

Learning focus
Asking before using belongings or entering personal space; listening to a clear answer; respecting refusal and changed permission; using accurate body words; choosing protective actions and seeking adult help.
Classroom use
Teach the eight core lessons in order, with one planned 50-minute lesson per session. Optional lessons 9–10 add reinforcement after all essential assessment is complete. Prepare teacher-owned puppets and objects, read cases aloud and use supported responses where useful. Work within school-approved protective-education procedures; body-word checks are private and no personal safety disclosure is requested.
Assessment and answers
Ten matched red sample-answer pages support the learning records. Open responses show examples or criteria; other responses that meet the taught criteria are valid. Fictional case keys and quiz explanations are included. The quiz supplements teacher observation and is not the sole assessment.
Formats and answers
Ten editable lesson PPTX files, 12 slides each; one editable quiz PPTX, 24 slides. Unit Plan PDF: 63 portrait pages. Preview PDF: 207 pages, preserving portrait guide pages and wide presentation/quiz pages. Clean contents JPG.
Teacher benefits
Separate complete decks make each lesson easy to locate. Teacher plans connect the same fictional cases, records and assessment criteria. Matched sample-answer pages and teacher keys support feedback. Optional reinforcement preserves an eight-session core route. Picture, gesture, device and recorded responses allow the same learning expectations to be assessed in different ways.
