Eight core lessons move from noticing boundaries to independent permission and help-seeking demonstrations. Two clearly labelled optional lessons reinforce the same learning through a shared pretend project and a decision reminder. All essential assessment is complete by Lesson 8.

Worked examples separate taking a pretend photo from sharing it, show that silence or maybe is not a clear yes, and reinforce stopping after no or a changed answer. The protective-choice lessons teach stopping a worrying interaction, moving towards safe support if possible, and telling a trusted adult. Children practise who, what and where in a help message and seeking another appropriate adult when support is unavailable.

Use puppets, safe mock objects and drawn offline screens. No peer touching, real posting, accounts, harmful content or required private disclosures are needed. Read aloud and accept speech, pointing, gesture, drawings, symbols, communication devices or adult scribing. The rubric assesses concepts and protective strategies; it does not penalise a communication mode or score compliance. Adults retain responsibility for safeguarding.
