Help Year 3 students investigate how living things grow and how new generations begin. Students compare bean and butterfly cycles, justify classifications, plan a safe sowing-date comparison, record actual observations and explain the limits of their evidence. Chicken and kitten examples help students challenge the claim that every animal has a pupa stage.
