Fun with Fractions – Year 4 is a complete Mathematics unit that develops fraction understanding through explicit instruction, visual models, number lines, collaborative activities, games and independent practice.
Students recognise proper and improper fractions, work with equivalent fractions, count beyond one whole, locate mixed numerals on number lines and convert between mixed numerals and improper fractions.
The sequence combines an editable 28-slide presentation and editable 22-slide quiz with a 34-page printable unit plan. Three classroom displays support reference and modelling.
