Help Foundation learners notice possible feelings, explain clues and practise respectful choices using fictional classroom stories. Flexible participation
Read fictional cases aloud. Children may draw, point, speak, gesture, dictate, use a communication board/device or direct a puppet. They may watch a rehearsal or respond privately. Assessment focuses on reasoning and respectful action; speech, eye contact and handwriting are not scores. Sample answers illustrate possible responses and allow other reasoned choices.
