Year 6 Prisms and Pyramids Unit

Help Year 6 students recognise and explain the defining features of prisms and pyramids. Students identify bases, faces, edges, vertices and apexes; connect 2D nets to 3D objects; draw prisms; and apply their knowledge to cross-sections, composite faces and a geometry-museum assessment.
