This Year 2 English unit helps students recognise what verbs tell us, identify verbs in sentences, distinguish nouns from verbs, use time clues to choose common verb forms and replace general verbs with precise choices.

The editable teaching presentation introduces action, thinking, saying, feeling and state verbs in age-appropriate language.
