Learning focus

Set 01 reviews the cumulative code. Sets 02-05 extend consonant spellings, silent-letter patterns and less common vowel spellings. Set 06 develops dis-, mis-, pre- and -ment while consolidating earlier word parts. Sets 07-08 focus on sustained reading, fluency, transfer and targeted revision without compulsory new code.

Using the readers

Each companion includes teacher guidance and practical sound, word, spelling, sentence and meaning work matched to its set. Model a task, try it together and then use student responses to choose useful practice. Reread the books for accurate decoding, phrasing and attention to meaning.

Choose books for teacher-led small groups, individual practice, targeted support or supported home reading. The paired editions let you choose a printing option while keeping the text and artwork consistent.
