Show, Explain and Inform gives teachers a complete pathway from source checking to an informative presentation. Students practise with six imaginary classroom projects, selecting information for a new classmate and showing where the source supports their facts. They develop a clear opening, grouped main points, an explained detail and a purposeful ending.
The lessons then connect precise vocabulary to meaningful visuals and short cue cards. Learners rehearse, receive a specific suggestion, choose one useful change and record what happened on the second attempt. The final lesson includes sharing and a fresh Puzzle Swap task so teachers can observe independent transfer rather than a copied model.
The teacher guidance includes explicit modelling, guided practice, independent work, lesson-specific support and extension, likely misconceptions, evidence checks and next teaching actions. Communication, source reading and recording support can be agreed for each learner. The rubric assesses useful information, organisation, vocabulary, visual support, rehearsal improvement and meaning-related delivery within five criteria. It does not score personality, accent, compulsory eye contact or a universal voice style.
