Noun Groups — Year 4 teaches noun groups through a clear five-lesson progression that connects grammatical knowledge with purposeful sentence writing.
Students review head nouns, then investigate how pointers and articles, quantifiers, describers and classifiers build meaning around the noun. They compare vague and precise choices, construct noun groups for characters and settings, and apply expanded noun groups naturally within complex sentences.
