Multiplication Using Partitioning - Year 2

Build confident multiplication thinkers with a complete Year 2 teaching sequence focused on arrays, friendly splits and partial products. Students first connect multiplication with equal rows and columns, then learn to partition one factor, multiply each smaller array and add the partial products to find the original total.
