Help Foundation learners explore identity, caring people and respectful participation through fictional examples and practical rehearsal. Learners identify interests and qualities, connect qualities to actions and explain how caring choices help another person take part.

Eight core lessons teach and assess the essential learning. Two optional lessons provide further practice through puppets and a shared task. Allow about 50 minutes per lesson. All ten lessons have a separate complete editable PowerPoint presentation, including teaching, practice and a closing slide. Essential assessment is completed by Lesson 8; optional lessons are not required for assessment.

What's included

ten separate editable lesson presentations with 100 slides in total; one editable 24-slide quiz; a 48-page Unit Plan PDF with preparation guidance, ten timed plans, game response criteria and assessment guidance; a Table of Contents JPG; and a protected 172-page Preview PDF. The complete canonical package contains 17 files, including three listing TXT files.

The Unit Plan contains 30 resource pages: two displays; two pages of eight character/decision cards; a three-page cooperative game with eight challenge cards; ten worksheets and ten immediately following sample-answer pages; a two-page assessment; and a rubric.
