  • Three platform listing text files and a clean Table of Contents JPEG.

Learning focus

Explain interacting influences and agency; use accurate puberty facts with privacy; evaluate authorship, evidence, currency, relevance and access; propose inclusive role opportunities; rehearse and review supported transition strategies.

Classroom use

Teach Lessons 1–8 in order. Complete the transition portfolio in Lesson 7 and review/adapt it in Lesson 8. Lessons 9–10 reinforce existing learning and can be omitted without missing essential content or assessment.

Use fictional case analysis, cooperative discussion and safe support-request rehearsal. Offer oral, written, drawn, dictated, picture/symbol or communication-device supported explanations. Practical assessment judges understanding and reasoning. The quiz supports feedback and does not replace the portfolio.

Practical preparation

Factual puberty teaching is nonsexual and age-appropriate. No private developmental or family disclosure, body comparison or public ranking is required. Teachers follow school communication and safeguarding arrangements and verify local staff contacts, facilities and school-transition information. The unit gives general teaching information and does not provide clinical advice.

Formats and answers

Lesson presentations and quiz: PPTX, with native editable teaching text. Unit Plan and Preview: PDF. Contents: JPEG. Listing copy: TXT. Student resource artwork is embedded in the PDF. Sample answers are models; other justified fictional-case responses are valid.

Teacher benefits

Complete editable lesson sequences, teacher response anchors, practical fictional-case assessment and flexible response options.
