Foundation contains 12 sets that develop the initial code, short vowels, consonant pairs and clusters, and early extended vowels. Year 1 adds 28 sets covering alternative spellings, longer words, weak syllables, inflections and word-building conventions. Year 2 adds eight sets for review, advanced spellings, morphology, sustained reading and final transfer.
