Everyday Word Explorers - Foundation
Help children choose the word they need and show what it means. Everyday Word Explorers teaches object, action and describing words through an original classroom discovery table, packing play, visual modelling, partner requests and cooperative activities.
The sequence moves through naming useful objects, distinguishing actions, using concrete descriptions, communicating clearly in play and applying a known meaning in a fresh assessment scene. Children notice, hear, see or act, use and transfer each meaning.
Teacher guidance explains that a basket is a type of container, that scoop and pour are different actions, that a stack differs from a row, and that a partly full container still has room. Rough/smooth and soft/hard teaching uses safe real samples. All prompts are adult-read.
